Can you ship wine from BC to Ontario?
Short answer: Yes, if the BC winery is authorized by the LCBO.
What the official sources say
- Ontario’s Out of Province Direct-to-Consumer Program lets authorized producers from participating provinces, including British Columbia, sell and deliver directly to Ontario consumers for personal use.
- Producers must apply to and be authorized by the LCBO, pay the applicable LCBO markup and file quarterly reports.
- The LCBO publishes the list of authorized producers; as of our check it lists two BC wineries.
